Anytime you want to celebrate your ancestors is a good time and this book helps with preparing a delicious meal! Ive made the COCONUT RICE. It was easy and tasty. Next time I will share some with my ancestral mothers. Feeling Springtime's sense of renewal, I think ill try my hand at the Oshun Pumpkin Pecan cheesecakes for some spicy and creamy lovin'. As it gets closer to the lusty month of May my adventurous spirit might lead me to make the Shango-Oshun apple mead to share with the ancestors to bless me and my love.I have tasted quite a few of these recipes (made by others) and they are delicious! I highly reccommend it!

Wish it was longer. Not crazy about the typeface but it is a minor quibble.
I loved all of these recipes, many of which remind me of my childhood! I’ve made a couple and they taste great
I was not aware of the use of food in ritual . I like the book. I recommend this book for knowledge and in practice.
The recipes in this book were delicious and easy to follow, I truly enjoyed learning about other cultures through their gods and goddesses. Learning about ritual food to share with your loved ones via divine connection was a unique experience. I look forward to seeing what else this author has written!!
